James C. Hollis is an American singer, songwriter, producer who hails from the east side of Buffalo, New York. He performs under the stage name Hollis Jae. His style incorporates soulful elements of R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, Country, Funk, and ballads. Over the years, Hollis has found success as an artist having released six independent projects. He started his professional musical career at the ripe age of 12, singing and playing the drums in church. In his early twenties, Hollis landed a gig singing background vocals in studio sessions for notable artist Tony Terry and co-writing the song "Baby Come Home" for the group Re Surface. He has performed all over the continental US, Canada, Japan, and southeast Asia. Hollis has shared the stage and appeared on several platinum and Grammy award winning artist's projects as a writer and as a artist. Currently, Hollis is based in Columbus, Ohio and has just released his latest single,

"Took Me Back", which is now available on all digital platforms.
